The Smart Waves Major program is organizing a scientific day entitled “Smart Waves: around waves” on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at the IPGG.
This event aims to bring together the research community around recent advances, ongoing projects, and interdisciplinary perspectives related to the study and control of wave phenomena.
The day will feature:
- A presentation of the program and its calls for projects,
- Research talks by PhD students and postdoctoral fellows,
- An intervention by Geoffroy Lerosey on the valorization of his academic research and the creation of Greenerwave,
- Presentations of the four scientific axes by researchers involved in the program,
- A poster session open to participants.
Members of the scientific community are invited to bring a poster related to one of the four axes:
- Quantifying the information carried by waves,
- Controlling wavefront generation and transport,
- Developing advanced imaging techniques,
- Designing innovative materials to make waves agile.
